The POP Demand Mod Forum is the place to download the mod and to discuss it. The goal is not to change vanilla Vicky unnecessarily, but to smooth the rough edges that players experience and create a working world economy and a rich historical context for both historically-minded and sandbox players. It's become something of an unofficial expansion pack, and one that is continually growing as more and more gets added into it. It not only adjusts the economy and migration mechanics but also introduces a host of new decisions, events and mechanics suggested by a wide variety of players in this sub-forum – thus providing the mod's unofficial second name: 'People's Democratic Mod'. ĭon't let the name fool you - while the 'Pop Demand Mod' started out as a discussion of how to improve and balance Victoria II's economy, it grew into a full mod focused on making the economy work smoothly but with comprehensive coverage of other areas. To download the latest versions of PDM, please visit the POP Demand Mod forum. Stepping into the owner role, I developed and executed a new strategy focussed on growth through innovative marketing and developed a new functions business to drive revenue growth and restore profitability. For teachers and school leaders, linkages between the Practice Principles and the Framework for Improving Student Outcomes (FISO) will be clear. PDM completely reworks the VIC2 economy, and adds hundreds of new events, decisions and game mechanics, all with the goal of making a more historically plausible and fun experience. This is an iOS-only application, though we hope Arturia brings it to Android, as we were quite pleased with SparkLE when we reviewed it in 2013. You can also hook it up to a SparkLE controller and integrate it with Ableton Link. It boasts a 16-track mixer with effects that include a multiband compressor, EQ, chorus, reverb, delay and distortion. Shuffle and shift modes can be used to humanise patterns that might otherwise sound robotic, and performance effects cater for experimental grooves. Its sounds are based on some of the most well-loved drum machines and acoustic kits combined with Arturia’s first-class sound design. Arturia iSpark (iOS)Īrturia’s iSpark features 40 drum kits and 640 instruments to play and sequence with. Those with limited storage will have to be careful not to overload on sounds as well, as they take up a lot of space. You’ll need to make a few in-app purchases to get the best sounds, though there’s an offer at the moment that gives you Zenbeats Unlock for free. Unfortunately, despite its great intentions, it can be fiddly and almost has too many features. You can create multi-track projects and export them to your DAW, and use it alongside other apps with AUv3 support. Roland ZenbeatsĪfter purchasing Stagelight, Roland rebranded the mini music-making station to Zenbeats and packed plenty of genuine vintage Roland synth and drum machine sounds into it. The catch with Patterning is that all export options are disabled until you pay a $5.99 fee. You can hook up other devices via Ableton Link and use Patterning in other apps as an AUv3 plug-in. Patterning for iPhone boasts creative qualities such as randomisation, coarse tuning and more, with automation possibilities for each. Patterning is an iPhone companion to Patterning 2, its iPad equivalent, which has a few extra features. This drum-machine app has a unique approach to sequencing and a quirky circular interface.
